For over 20 years, working with horses has been my great passion and the center of my life. Over time, my approach has changed significantly. Originally growing up as the child of non-riders into “modern” competitive riding, achieving rapid success and going through many different phases, I began to question certain approaches more and more.

My approach now is to keep horses healthy through targeted, classical dressage work. The goal has remained the same; the path to it is simply a completely different one. I am convinced that it is possible to work with horses at a very high level in a way that is truly species-appropriate within the framework of their natural capabilities. Pressure creates counterpressure, promotes wear and tear and injuries, and may lead to quick success in some cases, but it has nothing to do with my vision of dressage—this conviction has matured more and more along my journey, and I have now arrived at a very concrete idea of how it can be done.

Of course, this requires a great deal of courage and perseverance. It implies having the courage to rethink the entire concept of dressage....

I would be delighted if you would join me on this journey.
